• Streamline work details: Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 introduces Action Panes, a graphical, RoleTailored command bar—inspired by the Ribbon in the 2007 Microsoft Office system. Action Pane allows Microsoft Dynamics GP users to perform actions on multiple records on list pages, enabling users to preview and filter data—without the need to open multiple windows.

• Manage planning and production with greater agility. Improved material requirements planning (MRP) capabilities with a new pegging window provide suggestions for orders and what-if scenarios to provide greater insight when planning.
• Experience more flexible budgeting. Budgets can now span multiple fiscal years and be tied to specific business budgets such as grants and funds instead of finance years.
• Track customer changes more efficiently. Track customer changes by "effective date," so when a service call is needed, the technician can be dispatched to the correct location.
• Engage in a more streamlined collections process. Improved collections aging reports, improved identification of customers to focus collections efforts, and added information on template collection letters help create a more effective—and cost-effective—collections process.
